Your payroll, ready to approve.

Every month Sumly prepares the run, with Social Insurance, GeSY and PAYE worked out. You check it and approve it. From the approved run, Sumly emails the payslips and builds the files for SISweb and Tax For All.

  • €15 per employee a month
  • PDF payslips by email
  • SISweb and TD7 files ready
  • A draft every month

On the 1st of each month Sumly drafts the run from your contracts. It splits a part month or a mid-month pay change by calendar days.
  • Every contribution worked out

Sumly works out Social Insurance, GeSY, PAYE and the redundancy, training and social cohesion funds at that year's Cyprus rates.
  • Payslips by email

Each employee gets an email with a link to their PDF payslip. The link works without a login.

Check every figure, then approve.

Open an employee to see their pay from gross to net, and what they cost you in total. When you approve the run, Sumly posts it to your books.

  • Employee deductions and employer taxes, line by line
  • Change one month's salary or hours, then reset it to the contract
  • You approve the months in order, so you can't skip one
  • Approval locks the figures and posts the run, dated the last day of the month

Payslips your team can open.

Each payslip is a PDF with the month and the year to date. You send them from the run, and each employee gets theirs by email.

  • Your company details and logo, and the employee's Social Insurance number and TIN
  • Income, deductions and contributions, with net salary and company cost
  • Send again from the run if an email goes missing
  • Every payslip kept on the employee's page to download

Files ready for SISweb and Tax For All.

Sumly builds the monthly Social Insurance schedule and the TD7 PAYE return from the approved run. A person uploads them: you on Base, Sumly on Plus, your Sumly certified bookkeeper on Premium.

  • The SISweb schedule as a text file, and the TD7 as XML
  • Leavers that month go on the SISweb file with their end date
  • Mark as reported once both files are uploaded
  • For the tax payment, Sumly suggests the matching bank transaction and you confirm it

How it works.

Set it up once, then the same steps every month. Each run is a checklist that shows the next thing to do.

  1. Once

    Turn on payroll

Open Payroll and enter your employer Social Insurance number and Tax Identification Code. Both lock once saved.

  2. When you hire

    Add your team

Add each employee with their TIN, Social Insurance number and TD59 deductions. Then add their contract, with an annual salary or an hourly rate.

  3. The 1st of each monthSumly does this

    Sumly prepares the run

Sumly creates the month's draft from the contracts and works out every contribution and PAYE.

  4. Approve and pay

Check the figures and approve. Send the payslips, pay salaries at your bank and register the payment.

  5. By the end of the next month

    Report and pay the taxes

Sumly builds the SISweb and Tax For All files. The person who submits on your plan uploads them and marks the run as reported. You pay the taxes and contributions, register the payment, and the run reads Completed.

What else it takes care of.

  • Hourly staff

Pay staff by the hour on a weekly schedule. Sumly multiplies the scheduled hours in the month by the rate.
  • Pay rises booked ahead

Adjust a salary from a future date. The rise shows as Scheduled and takes effect on its own.
  • Switching mid-year

Enter what was paid and withheld before Sumly. PAYE carries on from there for the rest of the year.
  • Directors on payroll

Mark an employee as an officer or director, and their GeSY goes in the officer fields of the TD7.
  • Deadlines on your Overview

The monthly declaration and payment show on your Overview with the amount due. Each ticks off when you finish its step.
  • Ask the assistant

Ask Sumly AI to add an employee, a contract or a pay change. Nothing changes until you approve it.

Works together.

Everything in Sumly writes to the same books, so each part knows what the others did.

Payroll questions.

No. Sumly builds the SISweb file and the TD7 XML from the approved run, and a person uploads them. You do it on Base. Sumly does it on Plus, and your Sumly certified bookkeeper on Premium.

€15 per employee a month on top of your plan, with no fixed fee. Everyone with a contract during the billing month counts, including someone who left halfway through it.

Each run uses the rates for its own year, so a 2025 run uses the 2025 rates. For 2026, the employee pays 8.8% Social Insurance and 2.65% GeSY. As the employer you pay 8.8% and 2.9% on top, plus the redundancy, training and social cohesion funds. The first €22,000 of taxable income a year is free of PAYE.

No. Sumly works out what each person is owed, and you pay salaries from your bank. Then you register the payment in Sumly with the date and the account it left from. With your bank connected, Sumly suggests the matching transaction and you confirm it.

Yes. When you approve a run, Sumly posts it as one transaction on salary, contribution and payable accounts it sets up for payroll. Salary and tax payments post when you register them, so the books show what you still owe.

Yes. In a draft run you can type over an employee's base salary, or their hours and hourly rate, for that month only. Everything recalculates, and Reset to contract values puts it back. A lasting change goes through Adjust salary, with the date it starts.

Yes. Each employee has an opening balance for the pay, taxable income and PAYE withheld before Sumly, so PAYE carries on from the right point. The year-to-date columns on payslips count only runs made in Sumly.

You enter the yearly deductions from the employee's TD59 as one figure, and Sumly takes it off the income PAYE is worked out on. Sumly does not read the form or check the figure.
