Write the rule once. Sumly follows it to the letter.

A workflow books bills from a supplier you name, or approves bank matches, on conditions you set. Anything no rule covers waits for your one-click approval, and your Cyprus deadlines sit on one calendar.

  • Applied exactly as written
  • The AI never posts on its own
  • Every run recorded
  • Rules you control

Choose the supplier, the confidence level, the account and the VAT treatment. Sumly applies each one exactly as you set it.
  • One-click approvals

AI drafts, bank matches, payroll and the VAT return wait for your approval. Each one takes a single click.
  • Deadlines in view

Sumly lists what your company owes in Cyprus and when, worked out from its settings. The next deadlines show on your dashboard.

Rules that do exactly what you wrote.

You pick what starts a workflow, the conditions it checks and what it may do. Set 95% confidence and Sumly uses 95%. It never stretches a rule to a supplier you didn't name.

  • Book and post bills from the suppliers you name
  • Approve bank matches above a score you set
  • Accounts come from Sumly's chart, so a rule can't invent one
  • An email each time a rule runs, if you want one

Sumly prepares. You approve.

Sumly AI reads your documents and prepares drafts. It can't approve or post anything itself. A person does that, with one click.

  • Approve or deny what the assistant drafts
  • Approve or dismiss each bank match Sumly suggests
  • Approve the month's payroll before payslips go out
  • Viewers can look around but can't approve anything

Your Cyprus deadlines, on one calendar.

Sumly works out which filings and payments your company owes from its settings. That covers VAT and VIES, payroll returns and payments, provisional tax, the corporate tax return, the HE32 annual return and the yearly UBO confirmation. A row turns Due soon 14 days before its date, and Overdue after it.

  • VAT and payroll rows tick themselves off when you finish them in Sumly
  • Mark the rest done with the date you filed or paid
  • Each date links to the law it comes from
  • Deadline reminders by email

From rule to record.

A workflow is your approval, given in advance and in writing.

  1. Write the rule

Choose what starts it, such as a bill arriving or a bank match being found. Then set the conditions it checks and what it may do, with an account from Sumly's chart.

  2. Sumly does this

    Sumly checks each case

When the event happens, Sumly tests your conditions exactly as you wrote them. If it read the bill with less confidence than you set, it leaves the bill for you.

  3. Sumly does this

    It acts, or it stops

If every check passes, Sumly books, posts or approves. If the period is locked, a field is missing or the bill looks like a duplicate, it stops before posting anything.

  4. You pick up the rest

A bill the rule left alone stays in your inbox. You book it yourself, the same way as any other bill.

  5. Check the record

Every run shows what started it, what it checked and what it did, so you can see why a bill was posted or left alone.

What else it does.

The smaller jobs that keep your month on track.

  • Invoice reminders

On an unpaid invoice, "Send reminder" emails the customer the amount outstanding, the due date and the days overdue. The PDF goes with it if Sumly issued the invoice.
  • Payroll drafted on the 1st

With payroll set up, Sumly opens each month's draft run on the 1st. Its steps go from Approve payroll to Finished.
  • VAT return steps

Create the return, mark it filed, register the payment. Creating it locks the period's VAT entries, and you can reopen it.
  • Alerts when a run fails

A failed run shows in its history and on your dashboard. Turn on an email alert and Sumly tells you which workflow stopped.
  • Replay a failed run

Run a failed workflow again when the work still makes sense. If you've since booked that bill by hand, Sumly explains why it can't.
  • Bank matches found for you

Your bank feeds sync several times a day, then Sumly looks for matches. It suggests each one, and you approve it or a workflow does.

Works together.

Everything in Sumly writes to the same books, so each part knows what the others did.

Workflows, answered.

A rule you write once. It names what starts it, such as a bill arriving, the conditions it checks and what it may do. When the event happens, Sumly checks the conditions and acts only if they all pass. Every run is recorded.

No. The AI reads documents, sorts them and prepares drafts, but it can't approve or post. A workflow can act because you wrote its rule and switched it on. That rule is your approval. Everything else waits for a person's click.

No. Sumly uses the confidence level you set, even a low one, so choose it with care. It never adds suppliers, accounts or VAT treatments you didn't pick.

It stops before anything is posted. That happens when a period is locked, the bill looks like a duplicate, a required field is missing or a condition fails. A bill that started the run stays in your inbox for you to handle, and the run history shows where it stopped.

Yes. The deadline calendar lists the Cyprus filings and payments your company owes, based on its settings. The next ones show on your dashboard, marked Due soon from 14 days before the date. Sumly also sends deadline reminders by email.

Yes. Open the invoice and click "Send reminder". Sumly emails the customer what's still owed and how late it is. The email shows in the invoice's sent list, marked as a reminder.

Anyone on your team except a Viewer. Every approval is one person's click, whether it's a bank match, an assistant draft or a payroll run. Viewers can see workflows and their history but can't change or approve anything.

Sumly prepares them, and a person submits them. That's you on Base, and Sumly on Plus for every return except the year-end accounts. On Premium your Sumly certified bookkeeper submits everything, year-end included, working from the same calendar you see.
