Pricing questions, answered
Is Sumly worth it for a small Cyprus company?
On Base at €39/month you run the books yourself and the average Sumly user saves €3,210 a year compared to using an accounting firm. There's no free trial — instead a 14-day money-back guarantee, so you can test it with your real books risk-free.
Do the prices include VAT?
No — all prices are excl. VAT. Base is €39/month, Premium is €390/month, and the add-ons (Payroll, IP Box, Projects) are priced per month, all before VAT.
What does yearly billing mean?
Pay for 10 months, get 12 — yearly billing is 10× the monthly price, so 2 months are free. Base works out at €390 for the year instead of €468, and Premium at €3,900 for the year instead of €4,680.
Who files my returns?
On Base, Sumly prepares your VAT, VIES and tax returns from your books — you review and file them yourself through Tax For All. On Premium, your dedicated accountant reviews the books and files everything for you.
What does the auditor cost?
The statutory audit is always performed by an independent auditor — Sumly arranges one for you but never performs the audit itself. It's a separate service with its own fixed fee, arranged through the Services page at sumly.cy/services/auditor.
Who is Sumly for?
The accounting platform is for registered Cyprus limited companies only — not for freelancers, the self-employed, or companies outside Cyprus. Don't have a company yet? Sumly's formation service can register a Cyprus limited company, or self-employed status.
Is there a free trial?
No — Sumly comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee instead. Try it with your real books, and if it's not for you, you get a full refund. No questions asked.
Every month without Sumly costs you about €268.
