Ask your books, in plain words.
Sumly AI answers questions from your company's books. It can also draft an invoice, a bill or a journal. It writes nothing until you click Approve.
- Included in every plan
- No credits to buy
- Only you see your conversations
Ask about your books
Ask who owes you money, how this quarter compares with the last, or what VAT is due and when. It looks the answer up in your ledger.Drafts you approve
Before it creates anything, Sumly AI shows you a card with the details. Click Approve and it saves the draft for you to check.Never posts or pays
It doesn't post to the ledger, send invoices, record payments or file VAT returns. A person does that.
Answers from your own books.
Sumly AI looks the figures up in your books before it answers. While it works, a line shows each step, such as "Read VAT returns".
- Profit and loss against last period or last year
- Who owes you and who you owe, by days overdue
- Invoices, bills, bank transactions and payroll runs
- VAT periods, with the amount to pay and the due date
It writes nothing until you approve.
Each change shows up first as a card with the details, down to the lines and the total. Click Approve and Sumly AI creates it, then gives you a link to it.
- Sales invoices, purchase bills and manual journals, saved as drafts
- A bill dropped into the chat can become a draft with the file attached
- Contacts added, updated or archived
- Employees, contracts and salary changes, with the Payroll add-on
Answers for everyone, changes by role.
Everyone you invite can ask Sumly AI about the books. What they can change depends on the role you gave them.
- Viewers get answers, with no uploads or approvals
- Members and Accountants can attach files and approve
- Sumly checks the role again before each change runs
- A conversation is visible only to the person who started it
