Your data in. Your books done.
High-volume, data-driven businesses don’t book by hand — they integrate. Sumly’s developers connect your platform, payment providers and data feeds directly to the ledger, so every transaction is booked automatically, on the right Cyprus VAT code, with precision — casinos, fintech, apps, marketplaces and any digital product that needs bookkeeping to keep up with the data.
Running a Shopify or WooCommerce store? You don’t need a custom build — there is a Sumly plugin for each. This page is for everything else.
Price on request, per project. Tell us what you run on and what you need; we’re happy to talk through what’s possible.
Bookkeeping that keeps pace with your data
The same Sumly ledger, VAT engine and reports — fed by your systems instead of by hand.
Your systems, connected to the ledger
We integrate what you already run on — your platform or back office, payment service providers, wallets, marketplaces, banks — with Sumly's double-entry ledger. Transactions arrive as data and are booked as they happen: revenue, fees, chargebacks, payouts, refunds, FX, all on the right accounts and Cyprus VAT codes, at whatever volume your business produces.
- Platform, PSP, wallet, marketplace and bank data feeds
- Every transaction booked automatically on the right Cyprus VAT code
- Multi-currency handled — 50+ currencies converted into EUR books

Reconciled to the cent, with a trail behind every entry
Automation is only worth having if it is exact. Every entry balances; bank and PSP feeds reconcile against what was booked; filed VAT periods lock; nothing is silently edited — corrections reverse. You get live P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and aged AR/AP from books that match your data, and a complete audit trail your auditor can work from.
- Reconciliation between your data, the ledger and the bank
- Live reports from the same books — no month-end rebuild
- Audit-ready: every entry linked to its source

Experienced developers, your specific needs
Sumly is dedicated to working with clients on what their business actually requires. Our developers scope the integration with you, build it, and keep it running as your systems change. Casino, e-commerce, fintech, subscription app, marketplace — a Shopify or WooCommerce store, a custom checkout, whatever you actually run on. If the data exists, we can book it. Contact us and we're happy to talk about the possibilities.
- Scoped with you — price on request per project
- Cyprus VAT, VIES and provisional tax native, on top of the integration
- Same platform for review, reports and Ask Sumly AI

Integration questions, answered
The questions data-driven businesses ask before they connect their systems to the ledger.
How does automated bookkeeping through an API work?
Instead of documents being typed or dropped in, your systems hand Sumly the transactions as data — sales, fees, chargebacks, payouts, refunds — and each one is booked automatically into the double-entry ledger on the right Cyprus VAT code, then reconciled to the cent against your bank and PSP feeds. The data comes from your platform, your payment providers, your wallets or your marketplaces, and Cyprus VAT, VIES and provisional tax sit on top of it natively. You review reports and returns; nothing is entered by hand.
What kinds of businesses is custom API bookkeeping for?
Data-driven businesses with volume: online casinos and gaming, e-commerce stores on Shopify or WooCommerce, marketplaces, fintech and payments, subscription apps and other digital products — anywhere transactions are generated by systems rather than typed by people, and bookkeeping has to be automated and precise to keep up. If a spreadsheet export is how your bookkeeping starts today, an integration is the fix.
What can you integrate with?
Your platform or back office, payment service providers, wallets, marketplaces and banks — anything that can hand us the transaction data. Our developers scope the integration with you; if the data exists, it can be booked. Contact us and we're happy to talk about the possibilities.
What does it cost, and how long does it take?
Price on request, depending on the project — the systems involved, the volume and what you need booked. There is no fixed package to buy; it is built for your business. We don't quote a timeline up front either: we scope it with you first, then commit. What we can promise is experienced developers who work with your specific needs, and a Cyprus-native ledger underneath that your auditor can work from.
Is it still Cyprus-native bookkeeping once it's automated?
Yes — it is the same Sumly ledger and VAT engine: a Cyprus chart of accounts, 16 Cyprus VAT codes mapped to the official return boxes, VIES and provisional tax native, filed periods locked. The integration replaces the data entry, not the accounting, and everything else about the books stays audit-ready. You can order a Partner Auditor in the dashboard like any other Sumly company — our auditor page walks through how that works.
Who runs the books once it is live?
You choose. Run them yourself on the platform, have a Sumly certified bookkeeper on Premium review and file, or bring your own accountant in. Ask Sumly AI works on the integrated books like on any other.
